Bonnie was born April 24, 1929 in Ville Platte, Louisiana to the late Hadley and Melsie Fontenot, and lived in Port Neches since 1950. Bonnie was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches and retired from the Port Neches ISD where she worked as cafeteria manager.A Mass of Christian burial will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches with Msgr. Bennie Patillo celebrant. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the ion of Melancon39s Funeral Home in Nederland. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm. Tuesday, May 17, 2011 with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 PM at the funeral home.Bonnie is survived by two daughters: Gwen LeJunie and husband Gordon of LaBelle, Texas Susan Manuel of Hutto, Texas one sister, Barbara McGrew of Ville Platte, Louisiana seven grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
