Aaron Gilbert Elizondo, 19, of Nederland died on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at his home. He was born on November 30, 1990 in Augusta, Georgia. Aaron had lived in this area for 14 years and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. He graduated from Nederland High School in 2009. Aaron was an amazing brother, a loving son, a talented musician and songwriter, and a loyal friend. He loved music, philosophy, literature, and tennis. He maintained his faith in God through many difficult times. His smile, his wit, his talent, and his love for others will not be forgotten. Romans 8:38-39. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Nederland with Reverend Joe Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Aaron was preceded in death by his step-father, Glenn Stilley and grandmothers, Juanita Burleigh and Amelia Elizondo. He is survived by his mother, Linda Stilley of Nederland, father, Eddie G. Elizondo of San Antonio, two sisters, Theresa Brough and husband, Kasey of Beaumont and Kathy Thornhill of Nederland, grandparents, Audrey Burleigh and wife, Helen of Port Arthur, and Gilbert Elizondo of Kerrville, nephew, Andrew Thornhill and niece, Emily Brough.
