Aaron Jon Richard, 36, of Nederland, Texas passed away Tuesday February 4, 2014 at his home in Nederland. He was born in Nederland, Texas on January 15, 1978 to the late Layson L. Richard, Jr. and Sharon Vaughn.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with a rosary being recited at 9:30 a.m. before the mass, with Msgr. Dan Malain officiating, with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.

Aaron is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his brother, Lonny Richard of Nederland; his uncles, Bobby Richard and wife, Sharon of Mount Belvieu, and Eugene P. Richard and wife, Catherine of Nederland; and his cousins, Melissa Marchand and husband, Terry of Nederland, Heather Richard of Nederland, Tiffany Weatherford and husband, Brian of Nacogdoches, and Kristina Smith and husband, Daniel of Nederland.

Aaron was one of the kindest most loving person I've had the pleasure of knowing. We both went to St. Charles Catholic Church, Aaron was an Usher and greeted all of us with a hug and kind words. Where ever I ran into Aaron he always had to give me a hug then we would have a lengthy conversation. I will never forget him, I will always miss him and I pray I will see him again one day! God Bless you Aaron, I love you dear friend!!!
