Adele Guidry, 97, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at her home. Adele was born May 3, 1922 in Abbeville, Louisiana to Dewey Sehon and Onezema Hebert Sehon. She was a resident of Port Neches for 76 years and a retired Floral Designer. Adele was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches where she served on the Altar Society and the Altar Flower Ministry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Reverend Shane Baxter officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. Monday, November 11, 2019 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Adele was preceded in death by her husband, John Lorey Guidry; daughter, Leah Anne Lister; sisters, Judy Fontenot and Zoe Sehon; brothers, Harold Sehon, Raiford "T-Ray" Sehon, and John Dewey Sehon. Surviving relatives include her daughter, Cheryl Bryant of Port Neches, Texas; sister, Emma Lou Sehon of Nederland, Texas; 3 grandchildren, Charles Lorey Frederick, Andrea Danielle Faraci, and Robert Lane Bryant; 6 great-grandchildren, Sean P. Bryant, Chelsea Bryant, Victoria Bryant, Hali Frederick, Hayden Frederick, and Baleigh Linscomb; great great grandchildren, John Lane Bryant and Issabella Bryant.
