She enjoyed playing cards, Yahtzee, and her many trips to the casino. Adele was a loving person with a big personality, and she loved her neighbors dearly. A gathering of friends and relatives will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 5:30 p.m., Monday, December 21, 2020, at Melancon’s Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.

So many memories throughout the years, but I’ll share one of my favorites. Not long after Scott and I got married, we moved to a house in Groves. Apparently, we didn’t visit often enough, and she mailed us a hand drawn map to her house! She was definitely something, and always kept us laughing. She will be terribly missed!
