Agnes C. Courville, 92, of Port Neches, Texas passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur, Texas. Agnes was born April 3, 1926 in Catahoula, Louisiana to Vincent Lasseigne and Estelle Rodriguez Lasseigne. She was a resident of Port Neches for 40 years and retired from Doctors Hospital as Food Service Supervisor. Agnes was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church and the Altar Society. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church with Reverend Jim Courville officiating and Reverend Shane Baxter concelebrating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Agnes was preceded in death by her son, Charles Ray Courville and her brother, Edward Lasseigne. Surviving relatives include her daughter, Melanie Long and husband Roy of Groves, Texas; daughter-in-law, Gloria Courville of Nederland, Texas; sons, Father Jim Courville of Pearland, Texas, John Barras and wife Deanna of Lafayette, Louisiana; sisters, Leona Thibodeaux of Catahoula, Louisiana, Virginia Willis of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
