Hey Papaw, I can remember a year ago today, we had your 90th birthday party at Sandersons. You would've been 91 today, but where you are now, you will live forever, and we'll be seeing you one day. We miss you, all your laughs and memories, and never will forget you. We know you were with us at Paisley's party today, as you are with us always. Happy Birthday Papaw, we love you and miss you very much. Much love, Alicia and Mike Acosta

David, Michael, and Gracie, we join you in your sorrow at the loss of your wonderful dad. We all grew up together, and we are lucky to have had the time we did to know each other's families. When we were kids, our parents all kept a watchful eye on each of us, and we always took comfort in that sense of belonging. Your dad was a loving, caring man; and he will be missed by all who knew him. It was always a treat to run into you and your dad and talk about old times and to be reminded of the memories we shared. We will never forget him, and we know you will miss him very much. May God bless you and keep you close. Love, Joe and Cheryl

David, Mike and Grace Claire I just found out today of Furdens death and I am so sorry. Rita and I really loved and respected Furden so much. It was so good to cut his yard weekly and that was our way to visit with him on weekly basis. His sense of humor was incredible and my Mother and Daddy thought so much of your parents. Love yall so much.

Do lovers really fall in love to stay, and stand beside each other come what may? Is a promise really something people kept, not just something they would say and then forget? Do families really bow their heads to pray, do Daddys really never go away? Whoa, whoa, Grandpa, tell me 'bout the good old days... I love you Papaw, always... I'm proud that you're my Papaw, even in Heaven. See you one day, Alicia I extend my love and prayers to all my family and Papaw's friends.

Michael, I received an email about your Dad from Daddy tonight. I am so sorry for your loss. From hearing you and Wynelle talk about him, I know he was a wonderful person who brought a lot of joy into your life. I wish that I could be there to take my Daddy to the funeral, but I would have had to leave today to be there or no later than 4 in the morning. My husband is currently on medication for an infection and the ride and over night stay would be hard on him. I am sorry. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you both. Love, Peggy Odom Fleming
