Albert Thibodeaux

Albert Thibodeaux, 80, of LaBelle, Texas passed away Friday, December 25, 2015 at Harbor Hospice Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. Albert was born September 14, 1935 in LaBelle, Texas to Joseph Theophield Thibodeaux and Eucarise Miller Thibodeaux. He was a resident of LaBelle for twenty years and a former resident of Groves for 46 years. Albert retired from DuPont with 42 years of service as a Lab Technician and he worked for the Texas Highway Department many years prior when he was just out of school. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and St. Catherine Adoration Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Reverend J. C. Coon officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 29, 2015 with a Rosary to begin at 6:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Albert was preceded in death by his son, Glen Thibodeaux. Surviving relatives include his wife, Mildred Thibodeaux of LaBelle, Texas; five sons, Jerry Thibodeaux of Nederland, Texas; Gary "Bubba" Thibodeaux and wife, Elyse of Little Cypress, Texas; Steve Thibodeaux of Nederland, Texas; Jason Thibodeaux of Port Arthur, Texas; Marty Thibodeaux and wife, Kara of LaBelle, Texas; twelve grandchildren, Corey, Tyler, Maci, Justin, Sean, Aaron, Brandon, Joe, Erin, Ayden, Kayla, and Jacob; five great-grandchildren, Athan, Jonah, Keegan, Brylie, and Bryce.

Mr. Thibodeaux will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. He was a very caring and genuine man who always made you feel as if you were part of his family. My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this very difficult time.
