Alexander Paul Rivera, 63, of Nederland, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at Memorial Herman Hospital, The Woodlands.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 29, 2022, at Nederland Apostolic Church. Officiating will be Reverend James Corkran.

Alexander was born in Beaumont, Texas, on June 17, 1959. He was the son of Jose Sylvester Rivera and Regina Manriquez Rivera. He was a lifelong resident of Nederland. He was retired from Exxon Refinery where he worked for 38 years as a pipefitter.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Victoria Ann Castillo.

He is survived by his sons, Ethan Rivera and wife, Mercedez of Groves, Texas; and Clayton Rivera of Nederland, Texas; brothers, David Rivera and wife, Irma of Mauriceville, Texas; and Reggie Rivera and wife, Lynne of Brookeland, Texas.
