Alice Mae Krueger Richey, 88, of Nederland, Texas., passed away on Monday, January 8, 2018 in Beaumont, Texas. Alice was born in Appleton, WI., on June 5, 1929 to the late, Emery Krueger and Lily Kasten Krueger.

Those left to cherish Alice’s memory are her daughters, Linda Rasmussen and husband, Clyde of Neenah, WI and Lori Rape of Nederland, Texas; foster daughter, Sonja Peterson of Appleton, WI.; son, George F. Gibson and wife, Cheryl of Appleton, WI.; step-sons, Phillip Richey and wife Judith of Hempstead, Texas. and Jim Richey and wife, Myra of Mission Viejo, CA.; brothers, James Krueger and wife, Janice of Green Bay, WI., Vernon Krueger of Oshkosh, WI., Thomas Krueger of Appleton, WI. and Ronald Krueger of Green Bay, WI.; sister, Marjorie Brabender and husband, Roger of Amberg, WI; twelve grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Alice is preceded in death by her husband of twenty-four years, Robert E. Richey; brothers, Emery Krueger, Richard Krueger, Kenneth Krueger, Donald Krueger and Peter Krueger; sisters, Adeline Schneider, Ruth Halloran and Vera Kippenhan.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas on Monday, January 15, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. with a memorial service to begin at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Jason Burden, officiant.
