Allen Joseph Robin, 85, of Mauriceville, Texas passed away Wednesday, December 6, 2017 surrounded by his loving family at his home. Allen was born March 28, 1932 in Arnaudville, Louisiana to Gilbert Robin and Noeda Lonclos Robin. He was a resident of Mauriceville for thirty years and a member of St. Maurice Catholic Church in Mauriceville. Allen was an Operator with B.F. Goodrich retiring in 1994. He proudly served his country in the US Army. Allen loved his Cajun Music and dancing with all his Rodair friends. Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Reverend Delphyn Meeks officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 8, 2017 at the funeral home. Allen was preceded in death by his daughter, Charlene Choate Robin, three sisters, Ruth Guest, Delores Parsons and Versie Prudhomme, two brothers, Ray Robin and Anthony Robin. Surviving relatives include his wife of sixty-three years, Kay Robin, daughter, Debbie Weller and husband John, three sons, Phillip Robin and wife Kim, Leslie Robin and wife Nikki, and Michael Robin all of Mauriceville, Texas; sisters, Gertie Bouillon of Groves, Texas; Mary Lena Cheek and husband Fred of Florida; Janice Ray and husband Glenn of Orangefield, Texas; brother, Leonard Robin and wife Ruthie of Groves, Texas; grandchildren, Joshua, Micah, Aaron, and Jessica Weller, Carsen Briley, Zachary, Chelsea, Caleb, Quinton, and Travis Robin; and six great-grandchildren.
