Alma LaVerne Morgan, 94, of Groves died Monday, July 18, 2011 at Summer Place Nursing and Rehabilitation in Beaumont. She was born on April 22, 1917 in Moscow, Texas . A graveside service will by held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 in Union Springs Cemetery in Corrigan, Texas. LaVerne is survived by her daughter; Linda Morgan of Houston, her son; Ricky Morgan and wife, Linda of Beaumont, and two grandchildren.
