Altha Lee Sanderson, 97, of Port Neches, Texas died Monday, September 23, 2013 at Dogwood Trails Manor Nursing Home in Woodville, Texas. Altha Lee was born July 7, 1916 in Port Neches, Texas to Reese Giles Davis and Celina Gray Davis. She was a lifelong resident of Port Neches and a member of First Baptist Church Port Neches. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 26, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with Dr. David Mahfouz officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at the funeral home. Altha Lee was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Edward Sanderson and son, Davis Edward Sanderson. Surviving relatives include her daughter, Barbara Crawford and husband John of Colmesneil, Texas; son, Phillip Sanderson and wife Peggy of The Woodlands, Texas; 3 grandsons, Jeffrey Crawford, Paul Crawford, and Michael Sanderson; 4 great-grandchildren, Jarrod and Laurie Crawford, Grant and Kate Sanderson. Memorial contributions may be made to the Carol Stefflen Scholarship fund at First Baptist Church Port Neches.
