Alvin Paul Frederick

Alvin Nathan Paul Frederick left the pain of this world to be with his Father on Friday, September 28, 2012. Born August 16, 1929 Alvin lived a life devoted to his family. A veteran of the Korean War, Alvin served four years in the Navy before his honorable discharge in May of 1954. Alvin soon met his wife Margie Ann Hebert and they were wed on January 8, 1955. Margie left this world on August 11, 2000 but is now reunited with Alvin for eternity. The father of seven, Alvin instilled a Catholic Faith demonstrated by his personal sacrifice to provide and care for his family. He taught his children the importance of hard work, discipline, and Faith. Alvin loved coffee filled mornings in conversation with Margie and his brother Preston, the World Series, and spending time with his grandchildren. He had many accomplishments; professional boxer, semi-pro baseball player, youth baseball coach, a Eucharistic Ministermany titles but only one name, We love you Pop, say "hi" to Mom. Alvin is survived by his seven children; September, Theresa, Donna, Cathy, Michael, Maria, and Vincent. Ten grandchildren; December, Denee, Nicholaus, Jacob, Alexis, Landon, Spencer, Braxton, Camdyn, Chris and four great-grandchildren; Haven, Anthony, Ellie, and Micah. Visitation will be from 6 8 pm Tuesday October 2, at the Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches, TX. Funeral Services to be held Wednesday October 3, 2pm at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Port Neches, TX. In lieu of flowers please consider a contribution to www.CatholicCharitiesUSA.org .
