Andy Dewitt Smith, 76, of Nederland, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at Magnolia Manor in Groves, Texas. Andy was born August 28, 1938 in Groesbeck, Texas to Russell Smith and Lois Stark Smith. He was a lifelong area resident and retired retail salesman. He was a veteran and proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Survivors include his wife, Glenda Smith of Nederland; son, Robert Alan Smith and wife Kim of Beaumont; brother, C. O. Smith and wife Nelda of Franklin; four grandchildren, Joey Jones, Michelle Smith, Ryan Smith and Koby Bryant; mother and father-in-law; Eula and Harry Breaux of Port Arthur; sister-in-law, Verna Gayle and husband Leo of Groves; numerous nieces, nephews and many other family members A visitation for family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, followed by a Memorial Service at 10:00 a.m. with Mr. David Smith officiating.
