Angel Carol Bock was born on February 2, 2002, at Mid Jefferson Hospital in Nederland, Texas. As the attending nurse at her delivery, the Lord asked for prayers for a home for her and a family to take her. She immediately became our 2-2-02 baby on the wings of God’s word Isaiah 22:22 – The key of the house of David will I lay on his shoulder; so he shall open, and no one shall shut; and he shall shut; and no one shall open. It was the begging of doors, hearts, provisions, finances, Aid Workers; almost whatever her heart desired or needed was answered in signs, miracles and wonders – doors were opened.
Angel’s earth suit had Cornelia Delang Syndrome affecting every aspect of her natural life inside and out. However, she never let that stop her from doing God’s will, purpose and destiny of her life. Her signature Scripture for her life was Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans for a hope and a future. It would take her Mom, Dad, three Sisters, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Therapists, Aids, Staff, Medical Community, Teachers, and Churches to help her in this life. The miracles, signs and wonders will take books to be written to give the full report.
She never spoke a word but gave unconditional love, joy, and the healing that flowed freely through her from God was undeniable. If you were having a bad day, everyone knew to pick up Angel and let the love of God melt the burdens away. She had to trust God, her family and caregivers for her very breathe of life and sustenance. People said she was blessed to have us for her family. On the contrary, we were the ones blessed, privileged, and honored by God to have been chosen to care for her, and witness the extraordinary unconditional love, trust and joy of God exemplified through her life. She taught us about how to live life full of agape love. She accomplished the full will and destiny of God for her life on this earth in her short 20 years.
There is no accomplishment better than pleasing God with your whole life.
