Angel Carol Bock

2002 ∼ 2022

Angel Carol Bock

Angel Carol Bock was born on February 2, 2002, at Mid Jefferson Hospital in Nederland, Texas. As the attending nurse at her delivery, the Lord asked for prayers for a home for her and a family to take her. She immediately became our 2-2-02 baby on the wings of God’s word Isaiah 22:22 – The key of the house of David will I lay on his shoulder; so he shall open, and no one shall shut; and he shall shut; and no one shall open. It was the begging of doors, hearts, provisions, finances, Aid Workers; almost whatever her heart desired or needed was answered in signs, miracles and wonders – doors were opened.

Angel’s earth suit had Cornelia Delang Syndrome affecting every aspect of her natural life inside and out. However, she never let that stop her from doing God’s will, purpose and destiny of her life. Her signature Scripture for her life was Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans for a hope and a future. It would take her Mom, Dad, three Sisters, Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, Therapists, Aids, Staff, Medical Community, Teachers, and Churches to help her in this life. The miracles, signs and wonders will take books to be written to give the full report.

She never spoke a word but gave unconditional love, joy, and the healing that flowed freely through her from God was undeniable. If you were having a bad day, everyone knew to pick up Angel and let the love of God melt the burdens away. She had to trust God, her family and caregivers for her very breathe of life and sustenance. People said she was blessed to have us for her family. On the contrary, we were the ones blessed, privileged, and honored by God to have been chosen to care for her, and witness the extraordinary unconditional love, trust and joy of God exemplified through her life. She taught us about how to live life full of agape love. She accomplished the full will and destiny of God for her life on this earth in her short 20 years.

There is no accomplishment better than pleasing God with your whole life.

SHE DID THIS!!!

Her graduation homecoming day to Heaven was October 3, 2022.

She is celebrating, twirling, praising, and dancing before Jesus in a glorious spiritual body that is perfect.

She is survived by her loving parents, Dustin and Kelly Bock; sisters, Leah, Aubree and Hannah; grandparents, Larry and Ginger Patterson, Larry and Jan Jacobs, Aunt Teri Porter, Uncle Byran and Aunt Julie and family, and many cousins.

A gathering of Friends and Family will take place from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2022, at Melancon Funeral Home in Nederland, Texas. A Celebration of Life to honor the memory of our Angel will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Encounter Church in Groves, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Angel’s honor may be made to the CDLS Foundation. https://interland3.donorperfect.net/weblink/weblink.aspx?name=E356991&id=3

Around 2015, my family and I, in-laws included we're eating at PK Grill in Orange, Texas. If you knew Angel, she had expensive taste in food! And, the better she ate, the worse her diaper change was, smell included! Well, as we're sitting at a round table waiting on food, in a packed restaurant due to a show at the Lucture Theatre, the aroma came. It was a bid between Kelly and I on who was going to battle the diaper change and Kelly lost! On their way to the restroom; from the back of the building, every head turned and every nose hair curled. About the last 5 steps to the restroom door, the most embarrassing event happened. We learned real quick Angel was constipated, as the 0 0 0 0 began to fall out of her diaper and hit the floor!!! The poor owner sprinted to the scene of the crash, trying to follow the evidence trail of constipation to the bathroom with a wet rag in hand! Then came the mop bucket! The whole front portion of the restaurant suddenly became silent and I knew something bad was afoot! After the WWE tango between Kelly and Angel, they finally made it back to the dinner table. Needless to say, the waitress was tipped well that night and many were indoctrinated into Angel's world!

Love you very much, Angel. It was always a joy to see you while helping Mom with summer classes growing up. I’m thankful to have been able to see you grow throughout the years, from a little girl into a beautiful young lady. You have touched the lives of so many, from family and friends to classmates and teachers, and brought such joy and happiness into this world. We are all so lucky to have gotten the chance to know you. Love you very much, Angel.

I love you so much sweet Angel. I'll always cherish our memories together and the time I spent with you each summer when I was a kid joining my mom during summer school. Your smiles always made my day, and I cannot express the joy of getting to give you a hug and see you around campus during high school brought me. You and your loving family have touched so many people’s hearts. I'll always treasure the time I was able to spend with you. Love you so much Angel.
