Angelica Mandujano, 64, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Angelica was born September 16, 1956 in Guanajuato, Mexico to the late Felipe and Raquel Pina. She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Angelica was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was kind, loving and the peace maker of her family. Angelica often called to check on the ones she loved, whether it was through a phone call or with a plate of food.
Angelica was preceded in death by her parents, Felipe Pina and Raquel Garcia; father-in-law, Simon Mandujano; mother-in-law, Francisca Rodriguez.
Those left behind to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 43 years, Sergio Mandujano of Port Arthur, TX; children, Yolanda Mandujano and her husband, Jose Luis Figueroa, Jr.; Alfonzo Mandujano and his wife, Veronica Perez; Maria Mandujano and her husband, Chava Arreola. Angelica is also survived by grandchildren, Stephanie Cornejo, Isabela Mandujano, Luis Figueroa, Aaron Figueroa, Claudia Figueroa, Kevin Mandujano, Alan Mandujano; 4 brothers and 2 sisters.
A Christian Vigil will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m., Sunday, January 10, 2021, at Melancon’s Funeral Home, Nederland, Texas. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 11, 2021, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Port Arthur, Texas. Rite of Committal will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves, Texas.
