Anita Adreane Bienvenu, 61, of Groves, Texas passed away Friday, February 19, 2021, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Anita was born February 7, 1960 in San Manuel, Arizona to the late Lon and Dorothy Holliday. She retired as a Licensed Vocational Nurse for St. Mary’s Hospital and for various doctor’s offices in the Golden Triangle. Anita loved arts and crafts, quilting, making jewelry and painting ceramics. She had a passion for antiquing and family history. Anita was the owner of Classy Redneck Antique Shop in Port Neches. The beach was her “happy place” and where she enjoyed collecting seashells. She was a member of United Daughters of the Confederacy and Paranormal Group Society.
Anita is preceded in death by her parents, Lon Henry Holliday, Sr., and Dorothy Inez Moore Holliday; mother-in-law, Patricia Bienvenu and father-in-law, Marshall Bienvenu.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her loving husband, of 37 years, Don Bienvenu of Groves, TX; children, Kevin W. Mills of Nederland, TX; Kristen Bienvenu of Port Neches, TX; and Jacob Bienvenu of Nederland, TX; grandchildren, Addelyn Bienvenu, Aiden Bienvenu, Kaydence Thames, and Danny Baldwin; siblings, Lon Holliday, Jr. and his wife, Beth; Melaine Holliday, and Michael Holliday, Sr. and his wife, Sydney; and a host of friends and relatives.
