Ann Elizabeth Camerera Arnaud

Ann Elizabeth Camerera Arnaud, 81, a native of Port Arthur, Texas passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at her home in Port Acres, Texas.

Ann was born May 11, 1941, Port Arthur, Texas to Sam and Anna Camerera. She was retired from the City of Port Arthur, where she was employed for 40 years. Ann was a 1959 Bishop Byrne High School Graduate and a graduate of Durham Business College in Beaumont, Texas. When Ann was younger, she was a cantor at Saint James Catholic Church in Port Arthur and was a member of the Port Arthur Little Theater. Her favorite pastime was playing bingo. She was a big fan of Tom Jones and enjoyed seeing him live in Las Vegas numerous times.

Survivors include her daughter, Michele Arnaud Pitts and her husband Barry Pitts of Port Arthur, Texas; granddaughter, Ashely Pitts of Port Neches, Texas; grandson, Tyler Pitts of Port Arthur, Texas; great grandchildren, Skylar Pitts, Grayson Oltremari, Larson Lewis, Enzo Lewis of Port Neches, Texas; niece and nephew Melinda and Jude Tomasello of Oviedo, Florida; great niece Jaclyn Tomasello of Austin, Texas; and Michael Tomasello of Johnson City, Tennessee. Ann is preceded in death by her parents Sam and Anna Camerera, and her brother Anthony Camerera.

A memorial mass will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. on July 9th at the Little Flower Catholic Church located at 6412 Garnet Ave, Port Arthur, TX 77640.

Ann worked with my husband, Bob, for many years and was always an efficient and wonderful employee who knew so much about the City. She was an asset in every way and became a good friend. We will miss her, but know she is resting in God's arms. Condolences to all her family.
