Ann C. McDuff, 96, of Vidor, Texas formerly of Port Arthur, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2011 at Promise Hospital in Nederland, Texas. Ann was born February 17, 1915 in Durant, Oklahoma to Arvill Lewis Cox and Mary Mills Cox. She was an area resident for 72 years and member of First Baptist Church of Orangefield. She was a retired dental assistant. She was preceded in death by her husband, R. A. McDuff; and sister and brother-in-law, Myrtle and Leonard Howell. Survivors include her son, Bill McDuff and wife, Karen of Vidor, TX; two grandsons, Michael McDuff and wife, Tammy, and Richard McDuff; granddaughter, Phyllis Bell; and six great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 5, 2011 at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves with Reverend Forrest Wood, pastor of First Baptist Church of Orangefield officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas.

Will never forget our friend Ann...Ann without an E....you were on the best of the best list as a neighbor and friend to us .we enjoyed all our visits and times together having cups of coffee and your wonderful brownies...not only were you a great cook but your gardening skills were amazing ...love those amaryllis bulbs...all different colors! Albert and I will miss you dear friend....thank you for loving us....

Thank you for sharing your Mother with us. We always enjoyed visiting with her rather it was during our Texas trips or over the phone. We have wonderful memories of her showing us the community.
