Anna Lisa Jones, 46, of Port Arthur, Texas died Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Gulf Health Care in Port Arthur, Texas. Anna Lisa was born March 4, 1968 in Freeport, Texas to Joel Joseph Jones and Carol Ann Burt Jones. She was a resident of this area since 2008 and a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Port Neches. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church with Reverend Cliff Rucker officiating under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home Port Neches. Visitation for family and friends will be from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Surviving relatives include her mother, Carol Ann Nichols of Port Neches, Texas; aunt and uncle, Sue and Bob Worthy of Port Arthur, Texas; uncle and aunt, Timothy and Linda Jones of Angleton, Texas; cousins, Mendy Sparkman of Angleton, Texas; Sammy Jones of Angleton, Texas; Toby Jones of Pearland, Texas; and Graham King of Beaumont, Texas.

Carol, I'm so sorry. No one should have to bury their child. You were the best mom! You fought to give her the best care available & when there wasn't one, you took action! But God saw she had suffered enough & gave her beautiful legs & awesome wings to fly to Heaven. You & your family are in my prayers. Love you very much!!!

BACH has nurtured thousands of people with disabilities and developmental delays throughout this County. Anna Lisa and her parents were an inspiration to many!
