Anna Geneva Keith, 83, of Port Arthur died, Saturday, January 7, 2017 at her residence in Port Arthur. Mrs. Keith was born February 17, 1933 in Burkesville, Kentucky to the late John Claywell and Lillie Paige Claywell. She lived in Port Arthur since 1960. She was a homemaker and a charter member of Faith Baptist Temple in Port Neches where she was loved and held in deep respect. She loved her bling, to shop, travel and collect Angels.
Mrs. Keith was preceded in death by her parents, also twelve siblings and her granddaughter, Genell Keith. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles Edward Keith, Sr. of Port Arthur; her son Charles Edward Keith, Jr. also of Port Arthur; her daughters, Pamela Dillard of Lufkin; Mada Stark and her husband Harry of Port Arthur; and Marcia Turnipseed and her husband Tom of Nederland; ten grandchildren, Marcie Keith, Trey Keith, Erin Dillard, Rachel Nichols and her husband Cody, Corey Humphries, Chris Pullin and his wife Niki, Amber Pullin, Amy Pullin, Dr. Jeffrey Yonker and his wife Jessica, and Ellyn Turnipseed. Also four great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Keith will be Wednesday at 10:00 am at Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland with Rev. Mark Humble officiating with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of the family and friends will be from 6pm to 8pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
