Anna Mae McGallion, 90, of Port Neches, Texas passed away at her home on January 19, 2021. She was born in Simmesport, Louisiana on March 27, 1930 to the late Marshall Stepps and Mathilde Borderleon Stepps. Anna was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches. She was a volunteer for 45 years at Mid-Jefferson Hospital and the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. She enjoyed arts and crafts, and to travel with her husband. Anna was an avid bowler for over 35 years and competed in tournaments. Above all, Anna loved spending time with her family.
Those left to cherish Anna’s memory are her children, Karen Fowler and her husband Robert Cooley, David McGallion and his wife Dee, and Andy McGallion and his wife Tammy; 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and her brother, Sonny Stepps. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Dalton McGallion; and her brother Charles Stepps.
A graveside will be held on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Melancon’s Funeral Home in Nederland.
