Anna Mae Simon

Anna Mae Simon, 91, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Liberty Health Care Center in Liberty, Texas. She was born April 7, 1919 in Nunez, Louisiana to Jean Bourque and Olita Boullion Bourque. She was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur. Mother will be missed but she asked Jesus into her heart so we will be with her again forever in heaven. Her humor, witty character and clowning around will surely be missed by all of her family, friends and especially grandchildren. Survivors include her husband, Charles Simon, Jr. of Port Arthur; three daughters, Deann Hilton and husband, Will of Dayton, Sharon O'Neal of Port Arthur, Bridgett Porter and husband, Billy of Baytown; two sons, Kent D. Simon and wife, Ruby of Houston and Bret C. Simon of Beaumont; two sisters, Adley Weems and Glory Dean Hinds; two brothers, Dennis Bourque and Glen E. Bourque; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 3, 2010 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas with Dr. Phillip Morris officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Sunday evening from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. at the funeral home.
