Anne Ethelyn Hebert died Tuesday, November 15, 2011 in Port Neches, Texas surrounded by her family. She was born in Houston, TX on March 1, 1922. She attended schools in the Houston area and graduated from Incarnate Word Academy in Houston. She married Joseph C. Hebert on October 10, 1943 in San Jose, California. From 1946 1961 they lived in Houston, TX. The family has resided in Port Neches, TX. since 1961. Anne has been a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church since moving to Port Neches and has served on various community and civic organizations. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family at home and especially at their beach house. Anne was preceded in death by her parents Ellis J. and Esther L. Keith, husband Joseph C. Hebert, son John Wilton Hebert, daughter Joanne Foreman and grandson Anthony Hebert. She is survived by her daughters: Nancy Primeaux and husband Vernon, Port Neches, TX., Kathy Skeeters and husband Ed, Nassau Bay, TX.; Mary Malmay and husband Steve, Port Neches, TX.; Elizabeth (Beth) Barnett, Beaumont, TX.; sons: Joseph E. Hebert, Houston, TX.; Paul W. Hebert, Port Neches, TX.; James (Jimmy) Hebert and wife Kathy, Port Neches, TX.; Michael (Mike) Hebert and wife Carol, Port Neches, TX.; 24 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson and nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 8:00 pm Thursday, November 17, 2011 with a Christian Vigil to begin at 5:30 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 am Friday, November 18, 2011 at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches with Rev. Msgr. Bennie Patillo officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park. The Hebert Family would like to extend a special thanks to her care-givers and the thoughtful and caring people at Mid-Jefferson Extended Care. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation of your choice or the Susan Komen Foundation for Breast Cancer.
