For 40 plus years I shared a lot of time with my dear friend at work in surgery at doctors hospital as a team, at BBJ in preassessment, and after retirement traveling many places , and in our special choir the Silvertones at her church she dearly loved. I wasn’t ready for it to end but God had other plans for her which I’m sure she’s singing Gods praises for , reunited with loved ones in her forever home. I will miss you my friend but will carry the memories in my heart forever.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of Carlene Lejeune to all she knew, The world has lost such a lovely example of true goodness in humanity. I worked with her at Doctor’s hospital and found her to be the example, as a nurse, of goodness. She was kind to all those around her treating patients, other nurses and doctors equally with obvious tenderness for all and yet with all she gave at work, I witnessed, while sitting through seasons of baseball games, her love of her family. It seemed no amount of grief, loss or trauma could outwardly change her giving and loving soul. She is truly a loss to the world.
