Anthony John Wojcik, 98, of Pensacola, Florida formerly of Nederland, Texas died Tuesday, March 27, 2012 in Pensacola, Florida. Anthony was born June 5, 1913 in Moss Creek, Pennsylvania to John and Sophie Wojcik. He was a resident of Nederland, Texas before moving to Pensacola ten years ago. He was one of the founders of Nederland Jewelers and a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, Lions Club, and American Legion. Anthony was a Master Watchmaker and Jeweler, Antique Car Collector, Airplane Pilot and an avid collector of Pocket Watches and Wrist Watches. He was fluent in speaking Polish, German, and Russian as well as English. He was an Instructor for Hamilton Watch Company in Lancaster, PA and Bulova Accutron Watch Company in Cincinnati, Ohio. He built and donated, his pride possession, a grandfather clock to the Carmelite Nuns in Loreto, Pennsylvania. Anthony was a loving father, husband and grandfather and loved by everyone he met. We are truly blessed to have had him in our lives and know that now he is at peace. A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, April 2, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches. Following cremation, he will be laid to rest with his wife, Theresa in Barnesboro, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Theresa Wojcik. Surviving relatives include his sons, Paul Wojcik and wife Gladys of Port Neches, Texas; Richard Wojcik and wife Margaret of Memphis, Tennessee; brother, Johnny Wojcik of Barnesboro, Pennsylvania; grandsons, Chris Wojcik of Memphis Tennessee; David Wojcik and wife Elizabeth of Memphis, Tennessee.
