Mom aka Memaw or Aunt Nettie. Always the lady. I will miss the phone calls where she says "I just called to say I Love You" even though I called her. Best chocolate cake, egg custard, beans with spinner dumplings! Loved your Hershey kisses and chocolate covered raisins (dark chocolate was "good for you"😊 I know you are riding on dads bicycle handlebars in the sun while he smells your hair! I love you mom "with all my heart". Forever young again with no pain and walking again.

Nettie, thanks for a lifetime of precious memories we share! I'll hold you and Claude in my heart forever since the two of you were also the Mother in law and Father in law I never had and the best neighbors anyone could ever ask for! ♥️♥️♥️

My Mom. A life of service to others. A fine role model, mother, and grandmother. A loving and giving friend. I'll miss the hugs. I'll miss the egg custard, chocolate cake, macaroni & cheese, spinner dumplings, and cut guava. I loved her smile and how she loved her family. And picking up the phone to hear "I just called to say I love you...".

I just lit a candle on my altar for you, my sweet Aunt Nettie. After it was lit I tap tap tapped the table - celebrating this last puzzle piece that you've put into place. Give Cugy one of your big hugs for me! Love you so much and hope you know that you're with me every time I find a piece - tap tap tap ❤️

Aunt Nettie was so special, I don't even know where to begin. Love her so much and I've missed her (their) visits home to Cayman for a while. She always warned me about going to the Blue Marlin which was a standing joke whenever they came home. She will live forever in my memories and heart 💞 Thoughts and prayers for family and friends 🙏

The best aunt ever! Always smiling, laughing, joking, loving, singing, and happy! Things she said or did that make me smile - "Pussghetti, mac & cheese, chocolate cake, 'Chelle" - to name a few. RIP Aunt Nettie, you hold a special place in my heart - always.
