Josephine Arietta Menzel

Arietta Menzel, 102, of Bedford, Texas, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023, at Brookdale Eden Estates in Bedford, Texas.

A Graveside service will be held Friday, April 14, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Tx; Officiating will be Dr. Joe Worley.

Arietta was born in Port Lavaca, Texas, on August 19, 1920, to Robert Owen Barnes and Martha Fellers-Barnes.

She was preceded in death by her husband Norman Woodrow Roebuck, and her second husband, Walter Menzel.

She is survived by her daughter, Gaylene Kenney and husband Jack of Hurst, TX; son, Steve Roebuck and wife Jan of Piedmont, SC; five grandchildren, Brett Roebuck, Kasey Roebuck, Ally Lunday, Paul Levi, and Cindy Levi; twelve great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, and two sisters.
