Arnold V. Leonard

Arnold "A.V." Leonard, 77, of Nederland, Texas passed away Friday, October 7, 2011. A.V. was born October 5, 1934 in Port Arthur, Texas to Arnold, Sr. and Aileen Leonard. He lived most of his life in the Port Arthur area before moving to Mississippi several years ago. He was retired from Texaco as a pumper in operations. After his retirement he loved to garden and fish in his pond in Mississippi, and also traveling and collecting guns. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Edra Lea of Denham Springs, LA; two sons, "Chip" Leonard of Nederland, TX, Jeff Leonard and wife, Pam of Statham, GA; two granddaughters, Amanda Leonard of Nederland, TX and Tracy Lamon of Kirbyville, TX; five great-grandchildren, Kynlee Gooden, Kameryn Gooden, Shelby Lamon, Garfield Lamon, and Shelly Lamon. Cremation was under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas.
