We knew Mrs. Burran from Cypress Glen Nursing Home. My parents used to live at Cypress Glen and would sit at the table in the cafeteria next to the Burrans. When my parents died, my husband and I still went to visit there frequently. We always went by Mrs. Burran's room. She always impressed us with her positive upbeat attitude. When we asked her how she was, she would always say, "For an old lady, I am doing pretty good." She knew my husband liked to fish at Toledo Bend, and she always asked him how the fishing was and she would tell stories about fishing in her younger days. We will miss her smiling face at Cypress Glen. May God bless you with wonderful memories of her. Mark and Odette Riviere Hill Port Arthur
