He was born on April 12, 1943 in Wilson, NC and was the son of the late Letha Mae Collins and Stephen Arthur Lamm. Ray was a contractor and was last employed by Craig39s Air Conditioning. He is survived by son Kevin Lamm of Lumberton, TX, daughter Krysti Dockens and husband John of Beaumont, TX, and son Michael Distafeno of LaPorte, TX. Ray is also survived by six grandchildren: Kayla, Taylor, Ethan, BlakeLeigh, Hannah and Bethany and sisters Carolyn and Brenda.Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 28, 2011, from 11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. at Melancon39s Funeral Home, 1605 Avenue H, Nederland with funeral services to follow. Pastor Randy Feldschau will be officiating the service .
