Mercy August 9, 2013
I was about 8-10 when I met Mr. Mason at Golden Steer. I lived on the West Side of Port Arthur and my mom worked at a restaurant downtown. She always said "ask Mr. Johnny" and he was always generous and never treated us a "gals", but young girls....he was the first white man called momma by her first name and remembers us!!! God bless the family and may he rest in peace!
