Asa Jolie Vidrine was born on July 27, 2024. At 11:47pm her body joined us earthside, but her spirit stayed in the cosmos.
Before Asa was born, she was full wiggles and loved “dancing” when music was playing. Though she was born sleeping, she was beautiful and perfect in every way. She had the cutest button nose like her sisters, one little “elf” ear like her mom, and dark hair like her dad.
We spent 14 hours with our sweet Asa Jo after her birth. While no amount of time was ever going to be enough, every second is remembered and cherished. We held her and memorized everything about her. We bathed her. Her big sisters, grandparents, and aunties and uncles got to meet and hold her. We promised to always love her, and to shower her sisters in love in her honor. We sang and read to her before we whispered our last goodbyes.
Asa was immensely loved, by her parents, Kayla and Eric Vidrine, sisters Lennon and Ollie Vidrine, grandparents Dena and Ed DeYoung, Joe and Sandra Vidrine, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. She will be forever remembered and missed .
Asa Jolie is with those who joined the cosmos before her. Her great grandparents, Carl and Beverly DeYoung and Ollie Fontenot and her cousin Henry Musgrove.
