Audrey Pauline Dupree

1934 ∼ 2021

Mrs. Audrey Pauline Dupree, 87, of Nederland gained her angel wings today, Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 2:48 a.m.

She has proudly joined our Daddy (the love of her life) in heaven. Please do not be sad, this has been her desire since he left us in 2018. Those of you that know our Mother and Daddy know their wish was to reunite in eternity.

Pauline was born in Shreveport, Louisiana on March 17, 1934 to James Thomas Hartzo and Ila Victoria Whatley Hartzo.

She retired from Texaco Credit Union as a clerk after 15 years of service.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, A.J. Dupree and her great grandson, Trevor Lee Chesson.

She is survived by four daughters, Katy Dupree of Brenham, Texas, Jeannie LaPoint and husband Leonard of Nederland, Texas, Audrey Kidd and husband Joe of Kingwood, Texas and Jeannie Rebecca Dupree of Brenham, Texas, son, Joe Ben Dupree and wife Kathy of Nederland, Texas, grandchildren, Emily Abshire of Hamshire, Texas, Joe Ben Dupree, Jr. of Buna, Texas, Aimee Chesson of Hamshire, Texas, Jared Dupree of Sour Lake, Texas, Jennifer Mann of Vidor, Texas, Dillon LaPoint of Nederland, Texas, Jacob Kidd of College Station, Texas and eleven great grandchildren.

Pauline has been ill for many years and in several facilities as she followed her daughters, Katy and Jeannie in their careers. She loved each and every facility - the staff became her children and their children her grandchildren.

There will be no funeral services, per her request, just take comfort in knowing she is now celebrating her joyous reunion with A.J.

The family would like to thank Amedysis Hospice in Brenham for their dedication to their Mother. Cesilia and Dora, you are the best!

In lieu of flowers to honor our Mother, the family is requesting a contribution be made in her name to the: Trevor Lee Chesson Memorial Foundation

Checks made payable to: Trevor Lee Chesson Memorial Foundation, P.O. Box 186, Hamshire, Texas 77622

My heart is breaking, but at the same time, I know Aunt Pauline is right where she wants to be. She is healthy, happy, and home. What a glorious reunion in Heaven it must be. Rest in Peace, Aunt Pauline. An angel on earth that is now an angel in Heaven. Prayers for comfort for my family.💜

I will love I miss you forever and a day. 🦋 I have already had a couple of signs that told me you are happy and okay so that means that one day soon this hurt will be a lot better than it is today. I know this is not a goodbye but I will see you later. Give daddy and Trevor a hug and a kiss for me 💕

Ma. Pauline was such a sweet lady who cared so much about others. She was so proud of her family & loved them all. I loved to see the joy on her face when they would visit.
