I was saddened to hear that Mr. Buddy has left us. He was a good friend and one of the friendliest and nicest gentlemen that I have ever known. I met Buddy flying RC at the Mid-County club. It seemed he always had something to smile about and was always full of information and history. I knew him as a man that believed in the details, especially building airplanes. He really enjoyed flying and participating with the club. I moved away over ten years ago but I still have fond memories of flying with Buddy. I know one other important fact about Buddy, he loved his wife, family, and friends very much, and he will truly be missed. Fly high Buddy, fly high.

Jesse J Tomlinson was my Grandfather. His oldest daughter, Sarah Annette Tomlinson Davis, from his second marriage, was my mother. I am the second oldest daughter, Laura Jane Davis Kellam. We were blessed to know her half brother Baxter. Every time the family traveled to Port Arthur, Texas, we would visit Uncle Baxter and his wife. Occasionally we had a chance to visit with Stephanie and Marcus Tomlinson, our step-cousins. The Davis children Tammy, Laura, myself, Morgan, and Rebecca, enjoyed such interaction since our Aunts, Frances and Nancy Tomlinson, never had children, so they were the closest to cousins we had on the Tomlinson side of the family. One year Uncle Baxter showed me some animals made from seashells collected at the beach. I was fascinated by the craft talent and received a few of them and made some myself. We truly enjoyed having him a part of our family. He and wife were always warm, welcoming family. I still have some Christmas decorations made by his wife that I display every Christmas. We were blessed to have known both of them. I'm on Ancestry under Laura Kellam. I reside in Houston, Texas, with my husband, Brad Kellam, of 26 years. We send our condolences and prayers to the family and friends. May God be with you in time of sorrow.

It grieves me that we have lost Baxter. He was the brother of my wife Sarah Annette Tomlinson Davis and he and his family were an important part of our lives (Annette, Tammy, Laura, Morgan and Rebecca) for 25 years when we visited Jesse and Eloise Tomlinson in Port Arthur. We always looked forward to our visit. Baxter's electronic abilities to repair televisions and working on a prototype microwave long before they were produced commercially were a tribute to his abilities. He will be missed. Each of us have a very short time on Earth from the alpha to the omega, from the beginning to the end and my family knows how tenuous life is. Baxter and his family will live with us as beautiful memories.
