B.J. Gillard, 63, of Orange, Texas, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021 at UTMB in Galveston, Texas.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m.to 8:00 p.m., Friday December 17, 2021 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.

Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on November 29, 1958, she was the daughter of Jimmy Duvall, Sr. and Genevieve Bernard Duvall. B.J. grew up in Groves and though she moved around a bit in her early adult life, she came back to Southeast Texas. After getting married and having two children, B.J. and her family moved to Mauriceville and lived there for 22 years. She was a dedicated wife, amazing mother, and her love was completely unconditional. She was a caregiver by nature and took care of everyone around her. B.J. took great joy in being surrounded by her friends she considered family. She loved spending time with her kids and her grandson Riley. She enjoyed riding motorcycles and camping. She had a one of a kind heart of gold and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Duvall, Sr. and a brother, Jimmy “Jimbo” Duvall, Jr.

B.J. is survived by her husband of 35 years Don Gillard, mother Genevieve Walton, son, Steven Gillard, daughter, Shannon Gillard, grandson, Riley Heger, brothers, Kenny Duvall and wife Lori, Danny Duvall and partner Cynthia.
