Barbara A. Jacoby

Barbara A. Jacoby, age 69, resident of Port Neches, died at home May 9, 2009. She was born in Rochester, NY, daughter of Granville and Jane Buck. She was the former coowner of The Clothes Closet in Canton, NY and was retired from MidJefferson Hospital.Barbara was an excellent swimmer and was inducted into the Boca Ciega High School Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002.She is survived by her mother, Jane Rehrig daughter, Jennifer Petersen sons, Stephen and Michael Jacoby sister, Susan Schaff of Port Neches 7 grandchildren, and special niece and nephew. She will also be missed by her lifelong friend, Barbara Hartwell.Cremation arrangements under the ion of Heritage Funeral Home. A private memorial service will be held in the future.The family wishes to thank Cathy Gohlke of Harbor Hospice.
