Barbara Ann DeRouen, 71, of Nederland, passed away at her residence on Saturday, October 22, 2011. Barbara was born to the late Dalton J. Thibeaux and Angel M. Breaux of Lake Charles, Louisiana. Barbara is survived by her loving husband, Terry G. DeRouen son, Kevin S. DeRouen and wife Mindy of Nederland sister, Henrietta Hebert of Lake Charles, La brother, Lucas Thibeaux of Lake Charles, La granddaughters, Sarah and Hannah DeRouen of Nederland grandson, Seth Sebastian and fianceacutee Spencer LeBlanc of Beaumont, and one greatgrandson, Parker LeBlanc.Barbara is preceded in death by her son, Jody DeRouen sister, Heida Nevils and brother, Zachary Thibeaux.A gathering of family and friends will be held at Melancon39s Funeral Home in Nederland on Monday, October 24, 2011 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary at 6:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 2:00pm at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland with Father David Placette, Celebrant. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland.Serving as Pallbearers will be, Byron Thibeaux, Kelly Stodder, Angela Stodder, Clinton Nevils, Donald Nevils Jr., Bryan DeRouen and Honorary Pallbearer will be Seth Sebastian.
