Barbara Jeanne Breaux

Barbara Jeanne Collier Breaux, 86, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Friday, December 7, 2012. Barbara was born July 11, 1926 in Beaumont, Texas to Theodore Clyde Collier and Sallie Hogeland Collier. She was a lifelong Port Arthur resident and retired director of Port Arthur Day Nursery. She was a longtime member of the United Methodist Temple and was also a member of ADPI Sorority, BPO DOES, Texas PTA, Service League of Port Arthur, Floribunda Garden Club, and numerous other organizations. She was preceded in death by her brother, Theodore Clyde "Teddy" Collier, Jr. and son-in-law, Paul Trosclair, Jr. Survivors include her husband of 64 years, Walter Breaux of Port Arthur; daughter, Pam Trosclair of Port Arthur; son, Walter J. "Joe" Breaux, III and wife, Suzanne of Lumberton; five grandchildren, Will Breaux, Wade Breaux and wife Chelsie, Leslie Springer and husband Justin, Tiffany Trosclair and Quentin Trosclair; three great-grandchildren and one on the way. A visitation for family and friends will begin at noon, Monday, December 10, 2012 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Jesse Brannen officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Shriners Hospitals For Children, 915 Market Street, Galveston, TX 77550-9969; Alzheimer's Association, 2242 W. Holcombe Blvd., Houston, TX 77030-2008 or charity of choice.
