To CindyMy deepest sympathy on the passing of your mother. She was a dear colleague and friend for my 26 years teaching with her at PNG. We shared many good times and sad times as well. We both retired the same year and had much discussions about it before actually doing it. She was a true professional and loved her work. She will be greatly missed by many fellow educators. I hope the love she had for you will bring you some comfort and know that she is now a special angel in heaven watching closely over you.I regret that I am unable to be there but will be there in spirit and prayer.

Many are the memories of fun times shared growing up with Barbara. We first met when we were only 4 years old and spent playing hours together along with other quotkidsquot in the yards of Katy Street in Port Neches, One of our favorite vices was to sneak a piece of her mothers chocolatecovered cake and quothidequot on the front porch to eat it. Barbara was a fun friend to be with and Im sure she brought much joy to those who shared her adult life as well. Her special smile and gracious manner must have brightened the days for many around her. She surely leaves with me some unforgetable memories of young childhood and young adulthood. I will always remember her and the happiness we shared.

I want to send my most sincere sympathy. Mrs Ainsworth was my Geometry when I was a Junior PNG in 1978. I hated Geometry, but I LOVED Mrs. Ainsworth. I have to say she was one ot the teachers I ever had. She went out of her way to help me. She had such a big heart and a great smile. She will be missed. I hope God provides you with a lifetime of memories to keep her forever in your heart. Sincerely,Diane Bowen
