Barbara Ann Welch, 77, of Groves, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Christus Dubuis Hospital in Port Arthur. Barbara was born February 4, 1939 in Port Arthur, Texas to Joseph Foret and Bertha Guidry Foret. She was a homemaker and lifelong area resident. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Welch; and three brothers. Survivors include her daughter, Charlene O'Quinn of Groves; three sisters, Janice Foret, Linda Baxter, and Teresa Tuohy all of Groves; two brothers, Howard "Unkey" Foret and his wife Linda of Hemphill, and James Foret and his wife Nita of Groves; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 8, 2016 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves.

We are church member with Unkey and Linda and we are truly sorry for the passing of his sister. We are praying for the family and him and Linda from his church family from Community Fellowship.

Barbara was a very beautiful lady. She always laughed and she was so funny. I just loved to hear her tell her jokes. It would make me laugh so hard it would bring tears to my eyes. She will be missed. The good Lord will keep her safe now.
