I took a trip to visit with Aunt Bea quite a few times in the last few years. In one particular visit I spent several days with her and I offered to take her out to dinner , she insisted she wanted to cook a meal for me and said it would be the first and probably the last meal she would ever cook for me . She had that table full of all kinds of food , several meats , potato salad , greens , beans , cornbread and biscuits , tomatoes, cucumbers and pies . That was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. We passed the serving bowls around the table and shared a meal and conversations just as we did in the older days . I will always remember that very special time with her . You will never be forgotten, Aunt Bea.
