Benjamin Franklin Beard, III, 82, of Jasper, Texas passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021. Benjamin was born May 22, 1939, in Port Arthur, Texas to Benjamin and Mae (Hebert) Beard.

Benjamin dedicated the last twenty years of his life writing a book titled “Ascension 2022”. He enjoyed fishing, boating, golfing and traveling.

Benjamin was preceded in death by his parents, Mae Hebert Beard and Benjamin Franklin Beard, Jr.; son, Benjamin Franklin Beard, IV; and daughter, Sheila Marie Viator.

Survivors include daughter, Tammy Beck, Debby Neyland, Dorothy Evans and Kim Neyland; sister, Ann Latimer; nine grandchildren; and multiple great grandchildren.
