Bennie L. Prejean, 90, of Houston, Texas formerly of Groves, Texas passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at West Oaks Geriatric Center & Rehabilitation. She was born in Sanderson, Texas to Ruben Benjamin Mussey and Stella Inez Parker Mussey. She was a homemaker and loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eno "Dodd" Prejean. Survivors include her daughter, Judi Richard and husband, Michael of Houston; two sons, Stephen Prejean and wife, Lynda of Seabrook, Richard Dodd Prejean and wife, Ajjima of Houston; brother, Joseph William Mussey and wife, Joyce of Fort Davis; two grandchildren, Lisa Butwid and husband, Jerry, Alex Jordan Prejean and wife, Megan; three great-grandchildren, Gretchen Elizabeth Butwid, Adrian Michael Butwid and Carson Harris Prejean. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 8, 2011 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with Mr. Jeremy Houck of Park Central Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday evening from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. at the funeral home.
