Benny Ray Allison, 80, of Lake Charles, Louisiana passed away Sunday, January 8, 2012. Benny was born in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He was a resident of Lake Charles for 40 years and a master machinist and owner of Production Machines in Zachary, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his sister, Betty. Survivors include his wife, Velva Rae Allison of Lake Charles, LA; daughter, Vickie Kocemba and husband, Fritz of Lake Charles, LA; son, Bobby Bailey and wife, Renee' of Lake Charles, LA; brother, Fred Osbourn of Las Vegas, NV; four grandchildren, Melissa Adams, Jason Carlquist, Colton Kocemba, Bobby Bailey, II; and fifteen great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas.

Cindy, Fred and Frank are Ray's first children through marriage with Lou Berry. Although it was a strained relationship, it would have been nice of someone to tell this kids. Sad finding out almost a year later. Rest in peace Ray.
