Bernice Fletcher, 97, of Nederland passed away March 29, 2013 at Cypress Glenn Nursing Home in Port Arthur. She was born in Orange on March 31, 1915 to the late Samuel Kenny and Bertie Wasson Hubert. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Nederland.A graveside service will be held at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m., Rev. Dr. Jason Burden officiating under the ion of Melancons Funeral Home in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.Bernice is preceded in death by her parents her husband, Thomas C. Fletcher her daughter, Norma Wright her grandson, Wayne Wright and 3 brothers. She is survived by her son, Douglas Fletcher and wife, Ann of Spring her daughter, Kathryn Landry of Fannett grandchildren, Cobey Fletcher, Deanna Gracia, Kellie Hebert, Jean Benham, Sandy Grigsby 11 greatgrandchildren and 1 greatgreatgrandchild.
