Bernice Angelle Poole, 91, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away, Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Bernice was born February 17, 1926 in Maurice, Louisiana to Siriac Boudreaux and Angelle Trahan Boudreaux. She was a homemaker and resident of Port Arthur for 72 years. Bernice was also a member of St. James Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Ray Poole; sister, Betty Myers; and brother, John Allen Boudreaux. Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Poole of Port Arthur, Texas; son, Ronald Poole of Spring, Texas; and sister, Alice Picard of Delcambre, Louisiana. A visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 2, 2018 at St. James Catholic Church in Port Arthur with Reverend David Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
