Berta Plunkett, 80, of Bridge City, Texas passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018. Berta was born February 22, 1938 in Czechoslovakia, Germany to Johan Dubak and Berta Nesiner Dubak. She was an area resident for seven years and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Plunkett; two brothers, Hans Dubak and Rudy Dubak. Survivors include her daughter, Silvia Fitzgerald of Bridge City; sisters, Trudy Johnson of Williamsburg, VA, Elsie Sharp of Madison, AL, Annie Dubak and Heddie Dubak of Germany; brother, Gustauf Nesiner of Germany; grandchildren, Wayne Fitzgerald and wife Lisa, Joe Fitzgerald and wife April, Chris Fitzgerald, Faye Moss and husband Ronnie; great-grandchildren, Lizzie Spalding, Riley Spalding, Michaela Fitzgerald, Peyton Fitzgerald, Laney Fitzgerald, Nathan Moss, Cadence Moss, and Adriana Moss. A visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m., on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves followed by the memorial service at 6:00 p.m.
